What are the advantages of an electronic steering pump

The electronic power steering system has a relatively simple structure, small space occupation, relatively low cost, high control accuracy, and is basically maintenance free.

Firstly, the electronic power steering system is basically composed of two main parts: the motor and control module, and most of them are integrated together. Therefore, compared to the hydraulic power steering system, the power pump, hydraulic oil tank, high and low pressure pipelines, hydraulic power steering gear, and so on are much simpler.

Secondly, it is precisely due to the simple structure and high integration of the electronic power steering system that it occupies much less space than the hydraulic power steering system as a whole. It is basically not installed on the steering column or rack and pinion steering gear.

Thirdly, although it may seem that advanced motors and control modules are needed, for current manufacturing enterprises, the cost of producing a complete hydraulic power steering system is still lower, and it can be basically entrusted to a single supplier, while hydraulic models may need to be divided into several different suppliers.
