1. The electronic power steering system, without hydraulic system, has a hydraulic pump and hydraulic pipeline. The structure of the steering pipe body is particularly simple, and the power generated by the motor is transmitted to the steering system through mechanical means such as a reducer. Electronic power steering, abbreviated as EPS, has a relatively simple structure, consisting of steering column, torque sensor, servo motor control module, etc.

2. The electronic steering system starts working after the vehicle is started, when the speed is less than 80km/h. These signals are transmitted to the control module, which sends control commands to the servo motor based on the torque, steering direction, and vehicle speed data of the steering wheel. The torque of the servo motor output corresponding to the size and direction has generated assistance. The advantage of electronic power steering is that when not turning, the electronic control unit does not send torque signals like the servo motor, and the current of the servo motor is equal to zero during driving. It will not consume any power from the engine, reducing fuel consumption.

3. The steering assistance provided by the electronic power assist system is inversely proportional to the vehicle speed. As the vehicle speed increases, the current of the servo motor also decreases, resulting in less assistance for the vehicle. Therefore, the vehicle is more stable during high-speed and low-speed driving.
